Umut Şimşek was born in Edirne in 1982. He completed his primary and secondary education at Bakırköy Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar School, and his high school education at Bahçeşehir College. After graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, he studied English at Marmara University School of Foreign Languages ​​between 1999-2000 due to the English education of the faculty. After his education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry between 2001-2005, he graduated with the title of dentist. In the same year that he graduated from the faculty, he started his Phd education in the Department of Gum Diseases and Surgery (Periodontology) at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. In the first 2 years of his doctoral education, besides his basic education, he took radiology courses on Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance (MR) in order to contribute to his thesis in the following years. The subject of the thesis was on the implant, which is one of the subjects that he wanted to become specific in his field. He completed his Phd education with the thesis named "Clinical, Radiographic and Biochemical Evaluation of Fluoride Modified Titanium Endoosseous Dental Implants in Periodontally Compromised and Healthy Patients" in 2011. After completing his Phd education, he was given the title of Periodontology Specialist by the Ministry of Health. After his master's and Phd education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, he served in many private oral and dental health polyclinics and private practice in Istanbul as a consultant specialist in surgical branches. He established Dr Umut Şimşek Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic in 2016 with the idea of ​​reflecting his education, knowledge and experience to his patients. He serves in his clinic with the philosophy that "every patient is special and should be evaluated from all aspects of current treatments in dentistry".

Berkin Berberoğlu

Dentist Berkin Berberoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1997. He completed his primary and middle school education at Kumsal Elementary School and his high school education at Sabancı 50th Year Anadolu High School. He completed his dentistry education between 2015 and 2022 at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University. He has worked in various private oral and dental health clinics and private practices in Istanbul. Since February 2023, Dentist Berkin Berberoğlu has been working at Özel Umut Şimşek Oral and Dental Health Clinic.
